Dr. Rose’s research focuses on gender, relationships, and emotional adjustment in childhood through young adulthood. She has over 50 publications, has been cited over 7,000 times, and her work has been funded by NIH.

Dr. Rose has received many honors and awards for her research. She was elected to fellow status in the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Society. Dr. Rose also was awarded an early scientific achievement award from the Society for Research in Child Development.
